Our story is simple: we believe God loves the Coast, and He is not finished here. As you read, we invite you to see how prayer and presence are shaping the future of this place.
We’re Blake and Lauren Houston, along with our kids Henley and Hatcher. For the past seven years we have called the Mississippi Gulf Coast home. During this time we have become convinced that God is stirring something in this region. Our call is to seek Him in prayer and to ask for an outpouring of His Spirit that will bring renewal to the Coast we love.
When God brought our family to the Mississippi Gulf Coast, He gave us a burden to seek Him in prayer for this region. Over the years that burden has only grown stronger, and we have become convinced that the Coast is on the verge of a fresh move of His Spirit. Our desire is to give ourselves to prayer, to join Him in what He is already stirring, and to believe that renewal will reach people, churches, and communities across the Coast.
He is not far away. He bends His ear toward His people and responds when they call on His name.
We believe the Spirit of God can awaken hearts, renew churches, and reshape cities along the Coast.
This region is not forgotten. What God does here has the power to ripple far beyond our communities.
